Stress Reduction with Yoga

Stress reduction with yoga can restore your energy by re-connecting the mind, body and spirit so you can meet the challenges of life more effectively.

 

People have practiced yoga for thousands of years. The practice of yoga unites the body, mind and spirit by improving physical well being and calming the mind.

 

Class Goals:

 Each class is an individual meeting between you and our stress management expert, Debra Myers. You will address the special and unique ways that stress and tension have affected (and are affecting) your body. Every person can benefit from the practice of stress reduction.  You have an opportunity to do this in an individual, private environment that is tailored just for you.  In as little as 8 weeks, these skills will permeate you life and transform how your body feels.

The focus will be on the following:

 Session times & cost:

Individual sessions are available Wednesday and Friday afternoons.

Half hour sessions begin at $20 per session.

Hour long sessions are also available.

Our Stress Management with Yoga sessions are led by Debra Myers, a certified Stress Management and Integral Yoga instructor.  In addition to her certification, she has received over 400 Yoga Alliance hours of credit.  She has personally benefited from these stress management skills by acquiring significant improvements in her own health challenges.  Her goal is to promote awareness of the student's natural ability to heal and relax. She  will help you use time-tested practices to improve your life in our modern world.
